New Mexico Wildfires

On Monday, June 17, 2024, the South Fork and Salt fires ignited on the Mescalero Apache Reservation in New Mexico. ITDRC coordinated with federal, local, state, tribal, non-governmental, and private sector entities to provide information and communications technology (ICT) support.

ITDRC deployed technology resources and expertise to support wildfire response operations on the Mescalero Apache Reservation. Teams worked alongside multiple agencies to ensure communications infrastructure supported firefighting coordination and community recovery efforts.
